Adam Blackburn

Adam Blackburn manages Innova’s Energy Retrofit Solutions division.  His area of expertise is multi-family residential building retrofits, having performed energy audits on over 2,700 units of affordable housing to date and directing the implementation of energy efficiency upgrade projects totaling nearly $5 million.  Prior to joining Innova, Mr. Blackburn specialized in integration project management, accruing more than ten years’ experience in coordinating engineering design and hardware installation on large-scale technology infrastructure projects for clients such as major universities and television broadcast networks.  Mr. Blackburn also provides consulting services in project management best practices and technical standards development.  In addition, he has extensive professional and volunteer experience in the fields of energy conservation, sustainable farming techniques, green building methods and responsible land management. Mr. Blackburn holds a B.A. from Amherst College, and is certified by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) as a Building Analyst Professional, Multi-Family Building Analyst and Heating Specialist.
